WHAT’S NEW:

Thank You To Our Santa's Helpers

For a fifth year in a row, our Santa's Helpers helped provide gifts for more than 300 local children this past holiday season. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our Santa's Helpers who helped bring smiles to our local foster children in 2012.

Another Fantastic Pasta Dinner

Thanks to everyone who came out to our annual Pasta Dinner. We fed more than 200 of our supporters, a great time was had by all. Eileen Giordano outdid herself with rolling more than 300 meatballs for the evening, along with making the sauce that fed our hungry crowd.

A special thanks to Pastor Richard Burton and St. Lucy's Church for their wonderful hospitality in hosting our Pasta Dinner again this year.

Thanks to our All Our Supporters

Thank you to everyone who made an effort to support our organization this year. In addition to our Christmas Party, your donations are directly affecting other programs we have in place for foster children:

Mentoring Program - We continue to develop this program and have matched several children with adult mentors since inception. We are committed to helping one child at a time, are seeking adult mentors who want to make a difference in a child's life. Read more about [becoming a mentor] - link to mentoring page

Focused events - From taking foster children to basketball and hocket games to holding bowling and ice cream outings, our organization helps provide fun activities for our local foster children.

Pack-it-Up program - We have provided hundreds of back-packs filled with school supplies to make sure our foster children in our local area are prepared with the right tools to be successful in school.

Scholarship Program - We officially launched this program in 2012. We will begin awarding graduating students who are in foster care starting in 2013. We want to help as many children as we can prepare and offset the expense of college tuition and books. Scholarships will start at $500 and go up to $2,500 per award. Watch for more details to come.
